Before starting Hanbidge Law, LLC, Elizabeth worked as a litigator with a large Philadelphia based law firm. While working in "Big Law" Elizabeth gained experience working on a wide range of legal issues but found her niche in family law. Elizabeth truly enjoys being able to help individuals resolve the matters most important to them.
Prior to beginning her legal career, Elizabeth earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She continued her academic pursuits and earned Master's degrees in Psychology from University of Oxford and Harvard University. Elizabeth then obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin. Elizabeth is currently getting her doctorate in Social and Developmental Psychology from the University of Cambridge, UK. Her thesis is on high-conflict divorce, its effects on children, and Parenting Coordination.
Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Wisconsin. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Council of Mediators, and the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Wisconsin Bar Associations. She is the Co-Chair of the Parenting Coordination Committee of the Montgomery County Bar Association.
Elizabeth provides pro bono services as a child advocate with the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project. She is a competitive horseback rider and rower.
